The Reichstag, Pictured during the days during the wall is now once again the German Parliament. The Berlin Wall (white)
can be clearly seen in the background. The radius of the Berlin Control
Zone was such that aircraft flying downwind for a westerly landing at Tegel,
regularly flew over this part of the city crossing and re-crossing the
wall on their way into land.
